Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Control Associate to assist the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS). You will help maintain accurate inventory, ensure merchandise readiness for the floor, and support replenishment activities.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. You will participate in tagging, documentation, and system processes while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate input for all freight information through appropriate systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns in line with policies.
• Maintain high productivity by achieving UPH targets.
• Keep the stock room neat and compliant with Company/State guidelines.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and Company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers, teammates, partners and vendors.
