• Complete daily opening and closing duties for Nature Center.

Job Description

Basic Purpose Interpretive Guides facilitate educational programming, serve as guides for areas of interest within a state park or other tourism location, and maintain facility standards. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, and physical labor in both indoor and outdoor environments. This is a seasonal, part-time, entry-level position.

Typical Job Duties

• Lead guided hikes or other outdoor activities.
• Deliver educational programming.
• Plan and lead arts and crafts activities.
• Perform trail, and animal enclosure upkeep, including repairs and cleaning.
• Assist with routine groundskeeping and facility organization around Nature Center.

Special Requirements
