UPS is hiring a Temporary Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and replace AC/DC electrical equipment, motors, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and welding tasks. The role includes preventive maintenance and fast problem solving in a large logistics environment.

The seasonal position offers weekly pay, extensive training, and opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 company, with pay starting at $44.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacing AC and DC electrical equipment
• Inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components including motors and conveyors
• Inspecting and maintaining pneumatic equipment and hydraulic systems
• Performing welding work on equipment and supports as required
• Conducting preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment
