Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX. The role is PRN with 36 hours per week, days 7AM-7PM, and $70 per hour.

Primary work location is Region B with opportunities across THR hospitals. Requires RN licensure in Texas, BCLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and at least five years of nursing experience including ICU exposure. This position is not eligible for full-time or part-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Texas RN license required upon hire.
• BCLS and ACLS required upon hire.
• NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 5 years nursing experience, with 3 years in the last five in a related ICU area.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patients’ priorities regarding safety and care needs.
• Provide holistic nursing care in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Engage with family/caregivers as part of the care plan.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and support for colleagues.

Education

Nursing Diploma

Associate’s degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
