Job summary

Guest Services in Washington, DC is seeking an Ice Rink Supervisor to support the General Manager in daily operations and staff supervision at the Sculpture Garden Ice Rink. The role is full-time seasonal with shifts including evenings and weekends, and requires skating ability and operation of a Zamboni.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, recruiting and payroll tasks, frontline guest services, incident reporting, and contributing to budgeting and marketing efforts for rink

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• 1-3 years of experience management experience. Boating and/or marine related experience.
• Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with a wide variety of people and coordinate multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from the General Manager and assist in the overall management of the unit's operations.
• Supervise and schedule staff; train new employees; delegate assignments and monitor staff performance.
• Oversee front desk operations and maximize efficient and service-oriented staff performance.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer issues; respond to inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Inspect the facility daily and report unsafe conditions or equipment to the manager.
