Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri is seeking a part-time, seasonal Groundskeeper - Ice Rink Operations to maintain outdoor ice rinks, grounds, and guest areas during the winter season, roughly November 1 through January 9. The role offers pay up to $25/hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining ice surfaces, monitoring conditions, inspecting equipment, and performing seasonal groundskeeping.

Qualifications

• Groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed throughout the seasonal operating period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ice surfaces by spraying, rebuilding, and repairing damage from weather and skater use.
• Monitor ice conditions and remove snow, water, and debris from rink areas.
• Inspect and report issues with rink equipment and related systems.
• Perform groundskeeping duties, including snow removal, seasonal preparations, and landscape maintenance.
• Complete routine facility inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards, incidents, and equipment concerns.
