Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, MO is seeking a Groundskeeper - Ice Rink Operations for a winter seasonal role. The overnight position maintains outdoor ice rinks, guest areas, and related grounds, ensuring safe, high-quality ice conditions throughout the season and a welcoming environment for guests.

The role pays up to $25/hour based on experience and runs approximately November 1 through January 9, offering hands-on work in a resort setting with opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Groundskeeping or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and other hours during the seasonal period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ice surfaces by spraying, rebuilding, and repairing damage from weather and skater use.
• Monitor ice conditions and remove snow, water, and debris from rink areas.
• Inspect and report issues with rink equipment and related systems.
• Perform groundskeeping duties, including snow removal, seasonal preparations, and landscape maintenance.
• Complete routine facility inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards, incidents, and equipment concerns.

Position Summary

The Groundskeeper - Ice Rink Operations is a seasonal, overnight position responsible for maintaining outdoor ice rinks, attraction grounds, and surrounding guest areas. Operating approximately November 1 through January 9, this role helps ensure safe, high-quality ice conditions and a clean, welcoming environment for guests throughout the winter season and will pay up to $25/hour based on experience.

Essential Duties

• Maintain ice surfaces by spraying, rebuilding, and repairing damage from weather and skater use.
• Monitor ice conditions and remove snow, water, and debris from rink areas.
