Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink is seeking a Seasonal, full-time Assistant Manager to oversee the ice rink facility, ensuring operations, safety and customer satisfaction.

This role also involves supervising staff and completing daily tasks to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink. The position runs Oct 5 through Jan 31, 2027, at $21 per hour, with mandatory orientations on Oct 9, Oct 30 and Nov 3.

Competenze

• Must be available a minimum of 40 hours per week including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older; customer service experience is required; First Aid experience is preferred.
• Active team players who work well with others and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 40 pounds in inclement weather.

Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink – Assistant Manager Application

Description: The Seasonal Assistant Managers are responsible for overseeing the ice rink facility to ensure operations, safety, and customer satisfaction. Assistant Managers will also be responsible for overseeing staff and the completion of daily tasks designed to ensure and maintain a safe and welcoming environment at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink.

Seasonal, full-timeposition from October 5 through January 31, $21/hour

Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink is open November 4, 2026 – January 19, 2027

Mandatory orientation and training on October 9*, October 30*, and November 3*

Set up for the ice rink occurs October 12 – November 3, 2026*

Tear down occurs January 19 – 31, 2027*

*Must be available

• Applicants must be available a minimum of 40 hours a week including nights, weekends and holidays
