West Marine is hiring a Hub Associate / Van Driver (Seasonal) in West Islip, NY, to support hub fulfillment, deliver and pick up products, and ensure safe, timely service.

You will load vehicles, use routing apps, maintain vehicles, assist customers, and uphold West Marine's standards. This on-site, part-time role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to load vehicles and use routing apps for deliveries.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain HazMat and forklift certifications if required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and fulfill customer orders efficiently in the hub.
• Deliver and pick up products using routing apps.
• Provide high-quality delivery practices and customer service.
• Document deliveries using company systems.
• Maintain and vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Assist customers in-store and during restocking as needed.
• Operate vehicles safely and report any issues.
