Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal HR Intern to support data entry, policy communications, and recruitment activities at our Spokane hub. You will assist in building and updating HR processes, review resumes, log applicant flow, and help with special projects under guidance from management.

Ideal candidates are recent HR graduates with strong MS Office skills, confidentiality, and communication abilities, ready to contribute to a fast-paced HR team at UPS.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate from Human Resources Management program or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills.
• Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organization skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Enters data into Human Resources database.
• Composes memos to employees to communicate policy changes.
• Assists in construction and improvement of company policies and procedures.
• Reviews resumes in online database to recruit qualified individuals.
• Maintains applications and applicant flow logs.
• Assists in recruitment activities and special projects as needed.
• Files documents and answers phone calls.
