Job summary

Kohl's is hiring a Seasonal Field Logistics Human Resources Specialist to support onboarding, HR processes, and compliance programs onsite in Maryland. The role involves data-heavy tasks, payroll entry, and assisting with orientation and benefits sessions.

Ideal candidates will handle confidential information, work well in teams, and use Microsoft Office and multiple systems to manage HR records and respond to associate inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recruiting materials for onsite job fairs.

• Process new hire documentation and onsite drug tests.
• Assist with new hire orientation and benefits orientation sessions.
• Answer associate questions and/or redirect to AskHR.
• Ensure accurate data entry into timekeeping and scheduling systems.
• Process termination and final pay to meet state requirements.
• Set up, maintain and audit personnel files and other HR records.
• Accurate filing of personnel documents.
• Carry out additional HR tasks as assigned.

About the Role

As the Seasonal Field Logistics Human Resources Specialist, you will support HR productivity through administering associate onboarding activities, HR processes and compliance programs.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare recruiting materials for onsite job fairs
• Heavy data entry for interview and orientation sessions
• Assist with new hire orientation and benefits orientation sessions
• Process new hire documentation and onsite drug tests
• Answers associate questions and/or redirects to AskHR (HR customer service)
• Enter payroll data and process payroll exceptions
• Ensure accurate data is entered into time keeping and scheduling systems
• Process termination and final pay to meet state requirements
• Set up, maintain and audit personnel files and other relevant HR records
• Accurate filing of personnel document
• Additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

• Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative/customer service

Pay Range: $15.55 - $24.90
