Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking seasonal, part-time housekeeping/custodial staff for Blackwell Travel Information Center. Responsibilities include cleaning lodge rooms, guest cabins, and other park facilities, with duties ranging from sweeping and dusting to sanitation and trash disposal.

Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is required; a background check will be conducted for candidates. Must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to perform bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some locations require a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, and hardware.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and bedrooms, keeping washrooms stocked with papers, towels, and soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage.
• Moves equipment and furniture to clean effectively.
• Stocks housekeeping supplies.
• Observes and reports safety violations; participates in emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
