Job description

At The Inn at SentryWorld, our business is about people and the relationships we build. Our atmosphere is welcoming, and our team is genuine, dedicated and insightful when it comes to delivering excellent service. The team is seeking Seasonal Full-time and Part-time housekeepers to join our detail-oriented housekeeping team and help maintain the beauty and charm of The Inn at SentryWorld.

What You’ll Do

As a housekeeper, you will:

• Clean guest rooms to ensure all areas are properly sanitized and appropriately stocked with room amenities.
• Change and replace guest room bedding and towels and direct necessary items to laundry area.
• Vacuum guest rooms and clean all floor surfaces while following set procedures.
• Dust and sanitize all in-room surfaces, safely, using appropriate chemicals and equipment.
• Deliver items such as extra linens, towels or pillows to rooms upon guest request.
• Provide a secure environment for all guests and associates by ensuring all guestrooms are locked and assigned keys are maintained and return/document any items left behind in guest rooms after departure.

What it Takes

• Age requirement of 18+ required
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Demonstrated guest-service orientation
• Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner while adjusting based on guest requests/needs.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
