The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Park Service, is recruiting for seasonal contractual lifeguard positions at Greenbrier State Park for the 2025 season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Applicants must specify their interest in the Lifeguard Lake/Pool or Lifeguard Lead Lake/Pool positions on the supplemental questionnaire. Review the duties of each role before applying.
Must possess a valid Maryland driver's license with no more than five points. A provisional license is not acceptable.
Employment background checks, including criminal history, driving record, and education verification, may be conducted. Continued employment depends on favorable results.
Applicants must provide complete and accurate information. Foreign education requires an evaluation for U.S. equivalency.
Eligible contractual employees working 30+ hours/week may access subsidized health benefits, paying 25% of premiums. Other benefits include dental, life insurance, and leave accrual.
