Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking a Seasonal Employee to support the Toledo Excel Program, working with high school scholars in grades 9–12 on topics across math, science, civil rights, communications, financial literacy, computer literacy, arts & humanities, and more.

The role involves facilitating a non-credit course, engaging diverse teen populations, and coordinating with program staff to ensure a positive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in content area at minimum the high school level course equivalents.
• Experience working with various high school/teen populations.
• Preferred qualifications include background with high school populations and teaching/group facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a non-credit course for Toledo Excel high school scholars (9th–12th grade) across topics such as math, science, civil rights, communications, financial literacy, computer literacy, arts & humanities.
• Engage diverse teen populations and support a positive learning environment.
