Job summary

Durango School District 9-R is seeking a Boys Golf Specialist for Durango High School. The season runs August through October 2026 and begins in August 2026. Ideal candidates hold CHSAA certification or Colorado teaching license and possess solid golf knowledge with experience coaching student-athletes.

Successful applicants will work as part of the coaching staff, ensuring safe, inclusive participation and adherence to district guidelines. Position is seasonal with start in August 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License.
• Fundamental knowledge of Golf.
• Experience working with related school aged athletes/students.
• Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff.
• Current medical injury treatment course work.
