The National Park Service seeks an Engineering Equipment Operator (Seasonal) to operate heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and excavators on mountainous terrain, performing grading on soil, gravel, or sand surfaces and ensuring pre-trip inspections. This is a six-month seasonal assignment with location and schedule varying by position.

The posted pay range is $25.42–$38.92 per hour. Applications close on 2026-10-26.

Formación

• There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy gasoline or diesel-powered engineering equipment.
• Operate equipment on mountainous or steep terrain to excavate, backfill, grade, or level earth to rough specifications on projects.
• Load, secure, and drive equipment to and from project sites.
• Perform pre-trip safety inspections on engineering equipment.
