Job summary

Rieth-Riley Construction Co. in Michigan seeks a Replacement Heavy Equipment Operator for the 2026 asphalt paving season. You will operate heavy equipment safely to achieve a quality finished paving product and support project success.

Responsibilities include operating asphalt pavers, rollers, plants, loaders, graders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers, plus performing routine maintenance and inspections. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL.
• Must have a Safety First attitude and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, plants, loaders, graders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers.
• Perform general maintenance and inspection of equipment.
