Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Assistant Category Manager - Seasonal in Health & Wellness to assist category managers with tactical tasks, assortment building, pricing/promotions, and data analysis. You’ll coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely inputs and KPI alignment.

You will support plan-o-gram processes, monitor SKU performance, and provide insights for budgets and forecasts while maintaining strong communication across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in replenishment buying/procurement, merchandising, store assistant leader, operations or brand management
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Recommend assortment/plan-o-grams for a smaller category with CM sign-off
• Manage data analysis and communications with vendors, 84.51, Our Brands, and divisions
• Validate local requests with data analysis and align KPIs with the division
• Support plan-o-gram process, templates, and PCOE communications
• Monitor SKU performance and provide feedback to CM on adjustments
• Advise on category budgets, forecasts, and market trends affecting the business
• Support assortment work and testing for CMs
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses to drive business decisions
• Be proficient across systems (NEXT, Stratum, etc.)
• Support CM in driving promotional strategy
• Review past ad performance, shelf capacity, and display locations for promotions
• Assist supply chain issue resolution with replenishment and keep CMs informed
• Organize information sharing with vendors (product lists, forecasts)
