In this vital role, you'll ensure the safety of patrons while assisting the Pool Manager with facility operations. As a key leader, you'll oversee aquatic activities, enforce pool rules, and maintain water quality—all while providing top-notch customer service. Responsibilities
  1. Monitor safety: Scan the water to oversee activities, ensure safety, provide first aid, inform customers of upcoming events, and answer inquiries.
  2. Enforce safety regulations: Ensure the safety of the public by enforcing pool rules, checking chemicals, monitoring for safety issues, and reporting unresolved issues to the Aquatics Supervisor. Assist staff and the public as needed.
  3. Facility preparation: Prepare facilities for special events by setting up tables, chairs, and decorations.
  4. Operational procedures: Follow all opening and closing procedures and ensure staff complete all tasks.
  5. Leadership: Oversee operations in the absence of the Pool Manager.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Two years of lifeguard experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Must have American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. Training will be provided upon hire.
