Job summary

Blake Family is seeking enthusiastic Haunted Actors for a seasonal fall experience in Michigan. You will bring characters to life, perform in assigned haunt scenes, and interact with guests in high-energy, safe environments. This temporary role is perfect for performers who love Halloween and teamwork.

Responsibilities include acting in scenes, costumes and makeup, and collaborating with directors while adhering to safety protocols. Availability on Fri–Sun evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Available for the full September–October season, including all Fri–Sun evenings.
• Comfortable working in dark, loud, enclosed environments.
• Able to wear full costumes, masks and makeup for extended shifts.
• Strong, energetic performance with ability to stay in character.
• Reliable, punctual, professional.
• Prior acting or performance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a scare actor within assigned haunted attraction scenes and zones.
• Portray designated characters using costumes, makeup, and props.
• Engage guests in character throughout each performance shift.
• Follow cues to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Collaborate with fellow actors, directors, and crew.
• Attend mandatory pre-season orientation, training, and rehearsals.
• Adhere to safety protocols for guests and cast.
• Report to designated scene in full costume and makeup.
• Communicate with supervisors about costume, makeup, or safety concerns.
