Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. at Mt Rainier Jackson Visitor Center is seeking a Winter Seasonal Attendant Cashier to deliver friendly guest service, handle cash register sales, and assist on the serving line.

The role includes cooking short order items, maintaining sanitation, stocking shelves, and operating a food service POS. Prior National Park or visitor center experience is preferred; a Food Safety certification is required.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education or better is preferred.
• Food Safety certification required.
• National Park experience preferred.
• Ability to use POS system including cash register and credit card terminal.
• Strong sanitation habits.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests through positive interactions and complete sales on register.
• Complete sales in POS accurately, efficiently and friendly.
• Cook short order items on a serving line and perform simple food preparation.
• Maintain sanitation of food and service areas.
• Serve orders quickly and accurately.
• Clean counters, equipment, and work area, including washing dishes.
• Replenish and inventory food items and supplies in cafeteria lines and storeroom.
