Seasonal Guest Experience Associate Fixed Asset – Inventory Administrator

Location: Métis Crossing, Smoky Lake, AB
Closing Date: Until Suitable Candidates Found
Position Status: Seasonal (May – August), Full time (40 hours per week)

The Opportunity

Métis Crossing seeks a dynamic & expressive team member for the position of Seasonal Guest Experience Associate (Fixed Asset – Inventory Administrator). This is a summer term position with an end date of August 31, 2025. The successful applicant will maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation. While your primary responsibilities will align with those of Fixed Asset – Inventory Administrator, you will be required to assist with other duties as needed to support the organization’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate records related to Métis Crossing’s inventory of fixed assets and equipment.
  • Establish and manage a numerical tag identification system for all equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
  • Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
  • Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure proper account coding and adherence to capitalization policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to dynamic and unpredictable work environments.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in all interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software tools.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience working with diverse groups of varying cultural backgrounds and ages.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Other Requirements

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work on-site at Métis Crossing in Smoky Lake.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check is required.
