Job summary

Target is hiring seasonal specialists to help guests with tailored recommendations, maintain clean, inviting aisles and assist with merchandising. You’ll be busy on weekends, nights and holidays, stock, price, tag and present products, and deliver friendly service that makes guests feel welcome and inspired.

Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant and more; in-store training helps you learn fast and grow

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Accurately handle cash register operations
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary

Responsibilities

• Seasonal roles involve assisting guests with tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising
• Support guest experience by welcoming, thanking, and exceeding service expectations through interaction and recovery
• Ensure products are set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor
