Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Seasonal Laborer for the Roman Nose State Park Golf Course. This part-time, fixed-term role involves varying manual labor and grounds maintenance tasks to support course operations.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old and able to perform physical duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating basic equipment as needed. A valid driver’s license may be required for some locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Some locations require a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, weeds, trees and brush; cleans culverts, drains and ditches; moves, loads and unloads materials, supplies and equipment; hauls or carries sand, lumber, asphalt and cement or other materials; occasionally operates forklift or tractor.
• Assists skilled craft workers by carrying materials and tools, picking up materials from suppliers or performing tasks such as mixing concrete or mortar, digging holes and tearing out walls.
• Digs post holes and ditches; mows lawns, trims shrubs, rakes grass and trash, sweeps walks and cleans rest rooms; sweeps, mops and buffers floors; picks up trash and performs custodial duties.
