Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper for Lake Murray Golf Course. This part-time, seasonal role pays $12 per hour. You will work with Property and Maintenance Managers to maintain outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and recreation areas.

Typical duties include mowing, planting, trimming, debris removal, and equipment maintenance. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license; other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Demonstrate an attention to detail.
• Possess the ability to problem-solve.
• Possess the ability to communicate both verbal and in writing with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor spaces including lawns, gardens, and recreation areas.
• Cut grass, weeds, trees and brush.
• Operate and maintain lawn equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Maintain landscaping with mulch, pruning and deadheading shrubs.
• Remove trash, debris, and snow from common areas.
• Check recreational equipment for safety.
