Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer to support day-to-day field operations, including ground clearing, tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties.

This is a temporary seasonal position expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks, with pay ranging from $24 to $26 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. The role requires outdoor work, the ability to travel out of state, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state and be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with mowing, weed-eating, and tree removal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
