ND State Parks – multiple locations (listed below) – Grounds Keeper

Full-time/Part-time (15-40 hours/week)

Starting at $15 - $17 per hour

Are you passionate about nature and love working outdoors? Want to help preserve the beauty of North Dakota’s state parks while ensuring visitors have an amazing experience? We’re looking for a Grounds Keeper to join our team and help maintain the landscapes, trails, and facilities that make our parks so special.

What You’ll Do:

1. Maintain Park Grounds: Mow, trim, and care for the park's landscapes to keep everything looking pristine.
2. Trail Upkeep: Repair and maintain trails, making sure they’re safe and accessible for visitors.
3. Native Landscaping: Contribute to projects that enhance the park’s natural beauty and ecological health.
4. Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Ensure tools and facilities are in good working condition.
5. Other Duties: You might also pitch in at the marina or help with equestrian activities, depending on the park.

Flexible Hours: You’ll work when the park needs it most, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience in grounds maintenance (landscaping, trail upkeep, or similar work).
2. Willingness to learn basic repair skills and operate tools and equipment.
3. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
4. Valid driver’s license to get around the park.
5. Must be at least 16 years old.
