Job summary

AKER by MAAX / American Bath Group in Martinsburg, WV is seeking a Grounds & Facilities Maintenance Technician for on-site, hourly work. The role focuses on exterior grounds, property upkeep, drainage, seasonal readiness, and basic facility support across a manufacturing campus.

You will work with internal teams and approved vendors to ensure safe, clean, and functional site operations while following training and authorization for specialized tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping and exterior property upkeep.
• Ability to operate mowers, trimmers, pressure washers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter for unsafe or deteriorating conditions.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, debris removal, and landscape upkeep.
• Maintain clear pedestrian routes, fire lanes, hydrant access, gates and signage visibility.
• Support snow/ice removal, storm cleanup, and weather-related preparations.
• Coordinate or escort approved vendors for landscaping, pest-control, paving, and fencing.
• Document work requests and site hazards through the maintenance system.
