Job summary

Alcivia in Fall River is seeking a reliable Seasonal Grain Operator to support daily grain handling during harvest. You will receive, grade, store and load grain, and ensure a safe, efficient work environment.

responsibilities include operating conveyors, legs, augers, and related equipment; assisting with sampling, grading, and quality control; monitoring storage; and performing basic maintenance. Overtime is available during peak seasons, with potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
• Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
• Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Accurately complete required documentation and records.
• Assist with additional operations and facility tasks as assigned.
