Job summary

Garden City Co-op Inc in Oklahoma is seeking a grain elevator worker to assist with loading and unloading trucks at the scale house and elevator to which you are assigned.

You will weigh trucks, sample grain for moisture and weight, perform sweeping and cleaning, enter data, and perform other duties as assigned. The role requires physical work, endurance, and reliability with long hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years of age to operate the scale and eighteen to work in the elevator.
• Must have your own reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills preferred, but not required.
• This job requires long hours.

Responsibilities

• Dumping and loading trucks at the elevator.
• Sweeping dump pits and general cleaning/upkeep duties.
• Weighing trucks and sampling grain for moisture, weight, and condition.
• Data entry.
• Other duties as assigned
