Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable Seasonal General Labor team member for our grain elevator operation. This outdoor role involves operating equipment, supporting grain receiving, and keeping the facility running efficiently.

You'll work with an experienced team in a longstanding, community-rooted company, building real, marketable skills in grain handling, PLC/controls, and equipment operation. Peak-season weeks may require long hours, but safety and teamwork come first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience at a grain handling facility.
• Ability to read amp and percentage meters and work with PLC/controls.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Strong math skills and comfort with percentages, decimals, and multiplication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work at heights up to 150 feet in all weather.
• Willingness to work long hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings during peak season.
• A genuine safety-first attitude.
