Job summary

Leisure World of Maryland Corporation is seeking a Golf Technician I to maintain our 18-hole golf course. The seasonal role runs March through October with a 40-hour work week and pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, based on experience.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., plus every other Saturday and Sunday overtime 7:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. Compensation is hourly and contingent on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferably 1+ years of golf maintenance or landscaping experience.
• Chainsaw operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as golf carts, mowers, tractors, bunker rakes, trimmers, and blowers to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Perform routine course maintenance including watering, seeding, sodding, weeding, and edge work.
• Replace water coolers, pick up trash, and manage course facilities as needed.
• Assist in seasonal tasks and support part-time staff.
• Follow safety and maintenance procedures and read work orders and schedules.
