Job summary

rchospitalitysolutions in Florida is seeking a Golf Course Starter / First Tee Host to warmly greet members and guests, organize groups at the first tee, maintain the tee schedule, and communicate course expectations. This role supports guest check-in, Pro Shop operations, and outdoor course maintenance to ensure a welcoming experience.

The position requires strong verbal and interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred and must meet company driving requirements if operating company vehicles.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the orderly flow of play according to scheduled tee times.
• Communicate tee-off order and pace-of-play expectations to golfers.
• Provide exceptional first-contact service to members and guests.
• Maintain first tee supplies including scorecards, pencils, tees, and ball markers.
• Assist with guest check-in, activity sign-ups, and tee time reservations.
• Support Pro Shop operations and outside staff as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns and help keep golf course areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with daily play totals and other operational duties as assigned.
