BallenIsles Country Club, Inc. is seeking a Golf Shop Merchandise Assistant for the October through April season.

This full-time seasonal role supports the Golf Shop, assisting with merchandise receiving, presentation, inventory, special orders, and events under the Lead Merchandiser and Director of Retail. The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, organized, and dedicated to delivering an outstanding member experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three (3) years in merchandise, retail, or related customer service.
• Strong member- and customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Professional appearance and friendly, outgoing personality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and inventory systems.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of golf.
• Experience in golf shop, country club, golf club, resort, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Experience with golf apparel, accessories, equipment, and related merchandise preferred.
• Experience with inventory management, receiving, and retail POS systems preferred.
• Experience assisting with trunk shows, fashion shows, or retail events preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise, boxes, and supplies as needed.
• Ability to safely receive, move, organize, and store merchandise.
• Ability to move throughout the Golf Shop and stockroom as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and warmly welcome club members and guests as they enter the Golf Shop.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist members and guests with merchandise selections, product questions, and general Golf Shop needs.
• Assist with receiving, checking in, steaming, tagging, ticketing, and displaying merchandise.
• Maintain an attractive, organized, and well-stocked Golf Shop by replenishing merchandise and maintaining proper product presentation.
• Monitor and maintain the fitting rooms, stockrooms, and other designated storage areas.
• Assist with merchandise displays, seasonal changes, and maintaining visual presentation standards.
• Process and follow up on special orders, ensuring accurate information and timely communication.
• Assist with trunk shows, fashion shows, member events, and other Golf Shop activities.
• Assist with monthly, seasonal, and annual inventory counts.
• Answer telephone calls and provide administrative and clerical support to the Golf Shop and Golf staff as needed
