Job summary

The Lodge at Primland, a resort property in Virginia, seeks an Outside Golf Operations Attendant for part-time and seasonal work. You will greet guests, manage carts and clubs, assist with inventory and event schedules, and help create a memorable golfing experience for members and guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean cart barn, supporting merchandising, and providing exceptional service with strong golf knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of golf rules, course layout, and club selection strategy.
• Ability to read greens and provide accurate distance and shot recommendations.
• Excellent physical stamina to carry bags and walk long distances in varying weather.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support and engage with players.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet golfers and guests as they arrive at the clubhouse.
• Keep cart barn clean and organized; ensure carts and clubs are cleaned and stored nightly.
• Record the number and condition of rental clubs, golf cars, rental shoes, and range balls; report damages.
• Know the daily play schedule and ensure outside service is prepared.
• Assist members and guests to create a pleasant golfing experience.
• Assist and follow up with members and guests on golfing experiences.
• Assist in merchandising and maintain a pristine shop appearance.
• Maintain a professional, service-oriented environment with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Be familiar with golf tournaments and events and answer member questions.
• Handle guests' golf bags and other golf items.
