Job summary
Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations and deliver an exceptional member experience reflecting understated luxury and service. You will assist with member services, shop operations, tournaments, merchandising, and instruction, engaging Members with professionalism, hospitality, and a passion for golf.
Weekend and holiday availability required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in golf operations or private club.
- PGA Associate enrollment preferred; Class A preferred.
- Knowledge of the Rules of Golf for private clubs.
- Experience with golf tournament software and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events.
- Valid California Driver License.
Responsibilities
- Welcome Members and Guests with personalized service.
- Coordinate tee sheets and monitor tee time activity.
- Manage pace of play and provide on-course support.
- Assist with Golf Shop operations, merchandising, and daily transactions.
- Support tournament and event operations and scoring.
