Job summary

Northstar California Resort in Truckee, CA is seeking a Golf Maintenance Lead to assist the Superintendent with daily maintenance, irrigation, and equipment upkeep. You will lead Greens staff, train crew, and contribute to course improvement while upholding safety and service excellence.

The role requires 2–3 years turfgrass maintenance experience, English communication, and a willingness to work full-time over the season with housing options available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience in golf course maintenance and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of turfgrass management practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Provides guidance and training to staff as needed.
• Ability to manage staff with positive leadership.
• Developing team members to learn new skills and give feedback.
• Irrigation system operation and repair experience is a plus.
• 2-3 years of golf turfgrass maintenance experience.
