Job summary

Troon, in partnership with Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, GA, is seeking a part-time Golf Course Maintenance Technician. This seasonal position focuses on daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and practice facilities to support a positive guest experience.

No prior golf course experience required; training provided. The role offers early mornings, weekends, and holidays with growth opportunities within the Troon family.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mows greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas.
• Rakes and maintains bunkers.
• Operates string trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment.
• Assists with course setup, including changing cups and moving tee markers.
• Repairs divots, ball marks, and other turf damage.
• Assists with irrigation system maintenance and repairs.
• Assists in applying fertilizers, soil amendments, and other turf management products under supervision.
• Performs landscape maintenance, including pruning, edging, mulching, and debris removal.
• Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and maintenance facilities.
• Follows all safety procedures and club policies.
• Assists with special projects and tournament preparation as assigned.
