Job summary

The CLS Golf Course Technician position at PlumBrook Golf Course in Sterling Heights, MI focuses on turf care, grounds maintenance, course setup, and equipment operation. This is a seasonal, on-site role with responsibilities that include planting, irrigation, and equipment handling to keep the course visually appealing.

Successful candidates will complete required safety courses and participate in the Davey Carer Development Program.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Carer Development Program (CDP) books.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment to service golf course grounds.
• Change cups and tees.
• Plant and maintain flowers, ground covers, trees, and shrubs.
• Care for new and established turf.
• Utilize irrigation systems and address minor repairs.
• Adhere to safety rules and proper use of equipment.
