Job summary

Mt. Prospect Park District is seeking a part-time, seasonal Golf Course Greensperson to perform tasks on the golf course and maintain the greens. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check.

Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with park district facility discounts and usage benefits. The role requires adherence to safety policies, ability to work during the week and on weekends, and basic physical capabilities to handle maintenance duties and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with others to coordinate work, safety and emergencies.
• Must be dependable and able to work with limited supervision and during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, changing putting green cups, tee service, rake bunkers, prune trees and bushes, topdressing, operate landscaping equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; perform secondary and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
