Job summary

City of Appleton seeks a Concessions Attendant for Reid Golf Course to deliver friendly, prompt food and beverage service on the course and in the clubhouse. Position requires extended shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include preparing items, stocking carts, inventory support, operating the beverage cart, and handling transactions per policy. Must meet licensing requirements and maintain a neat, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year’s beverage/food service experience.
• Wisconsin Responsible Server certificate in first week of employment.
• Serv-Safe Certification for snack bar and concession operations.
• Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong computer, listening and communication skills.
• Flexible hours including weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages on course and in clubhouse.
• Stock and clean beverage cart during shifts.
• Assist with inventory of merchandise, food and beverage.
• Ensure beverage cart operation and compliance with liquor laws.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and restrooms.
• Record financial transactions and use POS for daily sales reports.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as required.
