Job summary

City of Greeley is seeking an energetic, responsible person to join the Culture, Parks & Recreation Department as a seasonal GIS data technician. The role supports GIS, asset management, and field data collection across Asset Essentials and CityWorks, with assignments designed to broaden GIS knowledge and cross-platform integration.

The position is anticipated to work 20-40 hours per week, through approximately December 31, 2026, with benefits eligibility and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ESRI products.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, etc.
  • Must be 18+ with a valid driver''s license.
  • Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and maintain GIS and asset inventory data using GPS- and GIS-enabled mobile apps.
  • Assist with field data collection and asset verification to support GIS mapping and asset management.
  • Work with CPRD staff to expand GIS knowledge across platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to data quality and cross-platform integration efforts.
