Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or Substitute Certificate or NFHS Level 2 Certificate.
• Criminal Background Clearance and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Assess student athletes for the purpose of providing feedback to students on their performance and/or team placement.
• Develops team and individual practice regimes for student athletes (e.g. strength, speed, agility, nutrition) to improve performance.
• Develops game strategies/plans by analyzing opponent strengths and athlete abilities for competition.
• Oversees assistant coaches, student managers, volunteers for guidance and monitoring.
• Promotes athletic program through off-season clinics and community meetings to increase participation.
• Responds to inquiries from students, parents, staff, media, and college reps with information and direction.
