Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms is seeking a Seasonal General Support to assist in planting, grading, cleaning, shipping, and other duties as assigned. Training and development opportunities are available throughout the season to help you grow within the organization.

Responsibilities include seed cutting, operating the conveyor line to grade potatoes, and following crew leader directions. Must be able to work outdoors and adapt to a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and customer-facing

• Walk on uneven ground at the farm locations.
• Ability to work overtime during harvest season or as needed.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of R.D Offutt Farms Seasonal General Support is to contribute to the farm labor and operations during planting. Duties may involve seed cutting, grading potatoes, cleaning, shipping, and other duties as assigned.

$15 - $18 / hour

Job Duties

• Seed cutting as directed
• Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate condition
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
