Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Seasonal Production Associate to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. You will rotate through multiple production areas, inspect products for quality, and help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working space.

You will cross-train in different roles, assist various team members, and participate in shift handoffs to ensure safety, food safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English.
  • Follow GMPs, GHPs, food safety policies, and plant safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk continuously during shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Willingness to rotate between tasks and work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through production assignments across designated work areas.
  • Continuously inspect products to ensure high quality.
  • Remove damaged or unclean baskets and place in designated areas.
  • Cross-train in skill-equivalent positions to support production needs.
  • Participate in shift handoff communications regarding safety and quality.
  • Assist Utilities, Operators, Baggers, and other team members as needed.
  • Clean equipment and maintain clean, organized workstations.
  • Maintain GMP and safety practices throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervision.
  • Monitor product flow in the Dry Area and prevent jams.
  • Pack finished products into cases and document lot codes.
  • Remove non-conforming bags and ensure proper labeling.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Seasonal Production Associate, you will support daily manufacturing operations by helping ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Working across multiple production areas, you will contribute to food safety, product quality, housekeeping, and overall operational success while gaining experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…
  • Rotate through various production assignments within designated work areas as required.
  • Continuously inspect products to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
  • Remove damaged, broken, or unclean baskets and place them in designated areas.
  • Cross-train in skill-equivalent positions to support production needs.
  • Participate in shift handoff communications regarding safety, food safety, quality, equipment, and operational concerns.
  • Assist Utilities, Operators, Baggers, and other production team members as needed.
  • Clean equipment and maintain workstations throughout the shift.
  • Remove trash and maintain housekeeping standards in assigned work areas.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Housekeeping Practices (GHPs).
  • Follow all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines, food safety standards, plant policies, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by leadership.
Area-Specific Responsibilities
  • Dry Area Monitor product flow from feed conveyors through slicers.
  • Prevent product jams by monitoring slicer infeed and discharge areas.
  • Pack finished products into cases according to specifications.
  • Place cartons on conveyors and accurately document lot codes.
  • Remove non-conforming bags from production lines.
  • Moulder Operations Monitor panning to ensure dough seams remain properly positioned.
  • Collect and record dough weights in the CornerStone system.
  • Fill flour hoppers and monitor ingredient usage.
  • Place pans to address production gaps as needed.
  • Packaging Operations Straighten products prior to slicing.
  • Monitor slicer infeed areas and prevent production interruptions.
  • Remove thrift or damaged products from production lines.
  • Rack off product as required.
  • Pack products into baskets according to specifications.
  • Perform product inspection activities.
  • Processing Operations Sort raisins and inspect ingredients.
  • Relieve Platform Assistants as needed.
  • Perform Micros and Minors assignments as directed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE…
(MUST HAVE)
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to follow GMPs, GHPs, food safety policies, and plant safety procedures.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and rotate between work assignments.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
(NICE TO HAVE)
  • Previous food manufacturing, food processing, or food service experience.
  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
  • Experience operating around conveyors, pallet jacks, or production equipment.
  • Prior experience in packaging, processing, inspection, or general production roles.
  • Knowledge of basic production documentation and recordkeeping practices.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Continuous standing, walking, turning, and product inspection throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of products weighing between 2 and 30 pounds.
  • Frequent reaching and continuous grasping and handling.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment with minimal to moderate noise levels.
  • Potential exposure to dry ingredient dust and occasional slippery surfaces.
  • Employees receive two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal period per shift.
  • Overtime and weekend work are required based on production needs.
Rate of Pay:

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: 3:55 AM - 4:00 PM (12-Hour Shift) Assignment Duration: Immediate Start through December 31, 2026
