Located on 25 acres of lush land in Southern Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985. This 4-star full-service property offers stunning mountain views and activities such as golf, swimming, and tennis, providing a unique experience only available here.

Hourly Rate: $14.81

Position Overview: Greeters are responsible for welcoming guests and creating the first impression. They influence the restaurant experience through interactions, including providing table accommodations and menu recommendations. As the final point of contact, greeters ensure guest satisfaction. Experience as a restaurant host or hostess is valuable for this role.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Welcome guests warmly, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
2. Manage table assignments and seating to optimize flow and satisfaction.
3. Recommend menu items and share knowledge about offerings.
4. Ensure all guest needs are met and their experience is satisfactory.
5. Lead, train, and support other greeters and hosts/hostesses.
6. Coordinate with management to implement seating strategies and manage waitlists.
7. Address and resolve guest concerns professionally.
8. Maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, and operational details.
9. Organize the greeter stand and ensure backup menus are available.
10. Complete opening and closing checklists and duties.
11. Follow service steps to maintain standards.

Qualifications:

1. Experience as a restaurant host/hostess or similar guest-facing role.
2. Desire to satisfy others in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse guests.
4. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
