Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to assist the store team during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service, helping guests with video game needs and keeping the selling floor well presented.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions presented in written, oral, and diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, and recommending items during transactions.
• Support the store environment including visual and operational aspects; participate in all holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety.
