Target is hiring Warehouse Associate roles in Illinois. The position starts at $22.75 per hour with a pay range of $22.75 to $26.00 per hour and a potential shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour for eligible teammates.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will pack, load, and ship items, ensure accurate processing, and move inventory through the facility. You will follow safety policies, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety policies.

Job description

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

Job Requirements

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation
• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
