Job summary

Irving Oil is seeking a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver to join the Dispatch team in Brewer, ME. You will deliver product safely to residential and commercial customers, load the fuel truck, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure DOT compliance on daily routes.

Requirements include a CDL Class A or B with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements, 2+ years of driving, and a high school diploma or GED. The job offers a community-focused environment with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Driving a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Working with our Dispatch Team in delivering products to residential and commercial customers.
• Following a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets, etc.
• Loading truck with required product while adhering to all safety policies and procedures at loading site/bulk plant.
• Completion of daily shift report, pre and post trip inspections and any required paperwork.

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Driving a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures

Your Skills :

Your Experience:

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years professional driving experience required
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required

The expected hourly range for this position is $28.50-$31.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
